Ohio Citizens for the Arts Board Taps Dorsey & Company President
Cleveland, OH (Jan. 24, 2010) -- Julius C. Dorsey Jr., President and CEO of marketing consulting firm Dorsey & Company continues his support for the arts in Ohio with a recent appointment to the board of Ohio Citizens for the Arts (OCA).
The Columbus, Ohio-based lobbying organization advocates on behalf of the Ohio Arts Council and the greater arts communities throughout the state. OCA works in tandem with the Ohio Citizens for the Arts Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, to leverage funds and support for the arts and arts education statewide.
Mr. Dorsey’s appointment to the OCA board follows his 2009 appointment to the Board of Directors of Cleveland-based Sankofa Fine Art Plus, a nonprofit organization founded in 1999 to support the education, preservation and distribution of fine ethnic art.
