Jinida has 25 years of experience as a communications professional, having worked throughout her career as a news reporter and public relations practitioner.

She previously worked as an account executive for Akron, Ohio-based firm Highland Public Relations.  Prior experience also includes staff writer positions with Plastics News, a trade publication published by Crain Communications Inc., the Wilmington (N.C.) Star-News and the Akron (OH) Beacon Journal.

As the Dorsey & Company Senior Associate responsible for company communications, Jinida’s primary communication management responsibilities for Dorsey & Company include company media relations, internal communications, content development and new business development.

She serves on the executive board of the Kent State University Black Alumni Chapter and served as a youth mentor via Greater Cleveland Volunteers “My Mentor, My Friend” program.

Jinida received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pan African Studies, with a minor concentration in Journalism from Kent State University.
