Robert J. Peterson has more than 30 years of leadership experience in many industries, including law, higher education, finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and others.  He will bring that depth of multi-category expertise and experience to numerous Dorsey& Company engagements in higher education, professional services and many other sectors.

His most recent and significant accomplishments include a role as the longest-serving president and CEO of Corporate College, a division of Cuyahoga Community College known as the premier corporate training and education provider in Greater Cleveland. Mr. Peterson’s experience prior to Corporate College includes serving as president of the Cleveland I-X Center convention hall, and management roles with Park Corporation, public accounting firm Ernst and Young and the law firm Squire Patton Boggs (formerly Squire Sanders).  Major accomplishments during his career include leading the successful acquisition of American Axle from General Motors, the sale of American Axle to the Blackstone Group, and Park Corporation’s major investment in the International Steel Group, which was subsequently acquired by Arcelor Mittal.

Mr. Peterson received a B.S. in Business Administration from John Carroll University and earned a J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant and attorney licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.
